SSC CGL Syllabus 2020: Exam Pattern-Tier I, II, III & IV in Detail- SSC CGL syllabus is different for all levels of exam. Tier I and Tier 2 are online exams covering various subjects. Tier III is a descriptive paper that can be answered in Hindi and English language.

SSC CGL Syllabus 2020: SSC CGL Tier 2 is conducted in online mode. The questions are objective in nature. Tier 1 qualified candidates can participate in SSC CGL Tier 2.

SSC CGL Tier 3 Syllabus
Tier 3 is a descriptive examination conducted offline and involves:
- Letter Writing

Tier 3 is a 100-digit paper of 60 minutes duration. The candidates are allotted 60 minutes to complete the descriptive written test.
Examination time for blind candidates and candidates suffering from cerebral palsy is 80 minutes. It should be noted that the minimum qualifying marks for this Tier 3 paper is 33%.
SSC CGL Tier 4 Syllabus
SSC CGL Syllabus 2020: The merit list is prepared on the basis of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 examinations and the shortlisted candidates are asked to appear for Tier 4 of SSC CGL. Tier 4 is basically a skill test consisting of two tests.
- Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
DEST is conducted for those candidates who have applied for tax assistant posts in Central Excise and Income Tax. Data entry speed skills will be tested at 8000 depressions per hour. CPT is conducted only for candidates applying for the post of Assistant Section Officer in CSS.
The candidates have to appear for the computer proficiency test to validate the selection and demonstrate their convenience and comfort of using the
computer.
